Arthur Jagodzinski

Arthur Jagodzinski 91 of Peru. Died November 3, 2019 in the Heritage Health Care of Peru. Private family funeral ceremony and burial have been held. Rev Gregory Jarzombek OSB officiated. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with the services. Arthur was born June 5,1928 in La Salle to John and Mary (Kaszynski) Jagodzinski. Arthur married his sweetheart Theresa Bernard in 1953. Arthur worked at Westclox as a machine screw operator for 30 years. He served two years in Korea as Gunner Sargent. Survivors include his two daughters Jill (Jim) Pappas of Peru and Janet (Paul) Mayszak of Peru. Six Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren and a special close friend Doreen Nazer of La Salle. Arthur was preceded in death by his Wife Theresa in 1965 and his son John in 2018. Arthur’s family would like to send out a special thank you for the wonderful care given to him by Illinois Valley Hospice and the extraordinary group of employees at Heritage Health of Peru.
