Betty A. Klein 80 of Peru. Died at 3:21 pm May 20 in Heritage Health Care Peru. Services will be 10:30 am Thursday in Ptak Funeral home with an 11:00 am mass of Christian burial at St Mary’s Church in Peru. Rev Robert Spilman will officiate. Burial will be at Peru City cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:00 am till time of services in the funeral home. She was born October 3, 1932 in Peru to Andrew and Agnes (Kieras) Filipiak. She married Donald E. Klein September 2, 1950 in St Mary’s Church Peru. She worked at Westclox in the fifties and then along with her husband was the owner and operator of Jimmie’s Motor Rebuilding in Peru for over 25 years. She was a member of St Mary’s Church and the Peru VFW Woman’s Aux. #8232. She is survived by 1 daughter Diane (Stephen) Davis of La Salle and 1 son Donald A. (Susan) Klein of Peru. 3 Grandchildren Wendi, Aaron and David. 4 Great Grandchildren Ethan, Mark ,Luca and Charlie. 1 Brother Leonard Filipiak of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband on February 11, 2012 and 2 Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brad Pagani, David and Aaron Peters, mike Washkowiak, Kevin Seghi and Mike Jalley.
