Betty A. Swiskoski 89 of La Salle. Died May 21, 2018, in St Francis Medical center Peoria. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Ptak Funeral Home. Rev Gary McKee will officiate. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10:00 -11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Betty was born March 13, 1929, in Arlington, IL to William and Theodosia (Hutcherson) Perkins. She married Joseph F. Swiskoski April 12, 1947, in Arlington. She worked in the laundry department for IVCH for many years. Betty was a member of Shooting Park Road Baptist Church and was an avid Bowler in many local leagues. Betty is survived by her 3 daughters Shirley (Earl) Sterling of La Salle, Christine Ellis of Peru and Carol Cunningham of Bloomington. 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. 1 brother John (Adele) Perkins of Mahomet, IL. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, 1 daughter Catherine Vessel, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
