Clemens J. Nogay

Clemens J. Nogay 96 of La Salle. Died 2:00 PM April 9, 2014 in St Margaret Health in Spring Valley. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday at St Hyacinth Church in La Salle. The Rev Paul Carlson will officiate. Burial will be at St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be in Saturday morning in the church from 10:00 am till time of services. Ptak funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Clemens was born September 20, 1917 in La Salle to Andrew and Louise (Baron) Nogay. He was a graduate of St Hyacinth Grade School and a 1936 Graduate La Salle Peru Township High School. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker at Westclox for 44 Years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of St Hyacinth Church. He is survived by his former Wife Anna Lipinski Nogay of LaSalle. 5 daughters Sylvia (Brad) Johnson of Cherry, Janice (Dale) Turczyn of La Salle, Luanne Sims of Peru, Maribeth Tonelli of Spring Valley and Karen Rios (John) Jurkas. 11 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great- Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 Sons David and Gerald and 3 Brothers Pallbearers will be Keith “Buddy” Johnson, Sam and Jay Maggio. Scott Sims, Luis Rios and Robert Witt.
