Dolores A. Dutkiewicz 89 of St Helens, Oregon, formerly of Peru. Died December 3, 2016 in St Helen’s, Oregon. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday December 13, 2016 in St Valentine Church. Monsignor J. Brian Rejsek will officiate. Burial will be in St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday in the church from 9-10 AM. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Dolores was born June 22, 1927 in Peru to Frank and Marie (Podlasek) Augustyniak. She married Henry Dutkiewicz. She graduated from St Francis Nursing Program and received her Master’s in Science and Nursing from DePaul University in Chicago. She was Public Health Community Nurse at the Hygienic Institute in La Salle and then was a Nursing Instructor for IVCC for many years. She then worked at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Educator up till her retirement. Dolores was a member of St Valentine Church, Delta Kappa Gamma, the Illinois Nurses Association and the Sigma Theta-Tau (Nursing Honorary Society). Dolores is survived by her daughter Debra (Tim Evans) Dutkiewicz of St Helen’s OR, 1 Granddaughter Fiona Evans of St Helen’s, OR., 2 brothers Raymond Augustyniak of Peru and Francis Augustyniak of Ladd. Several nieces and nephews and Great nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1955. Memorials may be directed to the Anthony Szott Education Endowment at St Valentine Church or St Bede Academy.
