Edna E. Davis

Edna E. Davis 95 of Peru. Passed away Wednesday August 30, 2023, at Manor Court of Peru.

Prayer service will be at 5:00 PM Wednesday September 6, 2023, in Ptak Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Soloman Sudhakar PHD will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 PM in the funeral Home.

The burial will be at a later date in Johnstown Ohio.

Edna was born March 28,1928 in London, England to Thomas and Amelia (Dowdall) Williams. She married Myron Ray Davis, the love of her life, on February 3,1951 in Bovingdon, Herts, England. He passed away February 6, 2006.

Edna worked as a teletype operator at the Royal Air Force Station in Bovingdon, England, where she met her husband. After their marriage she did not work outside the home. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in La Salle.

Edna enjoyed history, travel, being with family and good food. While married they traveled extensively in the United States, Europe and the Mediterranean.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years and her Great- Grandson Caleb Lewis.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Diane) Davis of La Salle and John (Elizabeth) Davis of Pataskala, Ohio. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and, 5 Step Grandchildren and 25 Great – Grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church in La Salle.
