Emily C. Turczyn 97 of Peru. Died 4:00 AM January 22, 2015 in Manor Court Nursing Home Peru. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10: 00 AM in St Valentine Church. Monsignor J. Brian Rejsek will officiate. Burial will at St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 AM till time of services in the church. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Emily was born June 13, 1917 in La Salle to Casimir and Mary (Pyrz) Zuchora. She married Edward Turczyn June 9, 1927 in St Hyacinth Church La Salle. She worked at Westclox. She was a member of St Valentine Church. She is survived by 2 sons Dennis (Shirley) Turczyn of Venice, FL. and Paul (Charlene) Turczyn of Rochester, IL. 5 Grandchildren and 2 sister Theresa Zielinski of Joliet and Clara Menne of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004 and 5 sisters and 1 brother.
