Hollis E. Edwards 95 of Henry. Died 1:25 AM May 5, 2014 at St Margaret’s Hospital Spring Valley. Services will be Saturday 11:00 AM at the Henry United Methodist Church Henry, IL. Rev Lindsay Churchman will officiate .Cremation rites to follow the services. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10:00 AM till time of services. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Hollis was born October 28, 1918 in Lostant, IL to Clarence and Leota (Graves) Frazier. She was a 1936 graduate of Henry High School. She married Cletus Edwards September 28, 1940 in Lacon, IL. She worked as a telephone operator in Henry and then worked as a Sales Clerk for Watercott’s Department in Henry for many years. She was a member of Henry Methodist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters Mary (Edward) Hayes of Henry and Clerene Edwards of Henry. 2 Grandchildren Deena (Marty) Muntz and Matthew (Chrissy) Hayes. 5 Great Grandchildren Laney, Danny and Erin Muntz and Lexi and Emily Hayes. He was preceded in death by her husband Cletus in 1979 and 1 sister. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Henry Food Pantry and Henry Nutrition Center.
