James R. Janicki

James R. Janicki 74 of Elgin. Passed away September 6, 2020 in St Margaret's Hospital Spring Valley. He was a resident of the Veterans Home of La Salle since March. Private graveside services will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. James was born December 16,1945 in Chicago to Charles and Sophie (Lach) Janicki. James served with the army during the Vietnam War. He retired as a company accountant. James is survived by his sister Elaine Antongiovanni of Elgin.
