Janet R. Helson

Janet R. Helson, 83 of Peru, died at 8:25 AM May 7th, 2014 at her home. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday May 10th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Peru, IL. Burdettte Mills will officiate. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Janet was born June 18th, 1930 in Hollywood Florida to Rufus and Dorcas (McGee) Foster. She Married John Helson on December 17, 1947 in Chicago. Janet was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by her husband John, one son David (Loretta) of La Salle, one daughter DeAnna Zanaglia of Peru, four Grandchildren, Corey Helson, Aaron Helson , Shaun Helson and Matthew Helson, two Great Grandchildren Cooper and Levi Helson also one sister MaryLou Stepp of Kentucky.
