Janet A. Kurtz

Janet A. Kurtz 83 of Peru. Died February 8, 2018, in Peru. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 16 at the Ptak Funeral Home. Chaplain Richard Hillenbrand of Vitas Hospice will officiate. Burial will be at St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15 from 5-7 PM in the funeral home. Janet was born November 16, 1934, in Lostant to William and Veronica (Mertes) Weber. She married Raymond Kurtz August 29,1959, at St Valentine Church Peru. She worked at Westclox and at the Steak and Shake restaurant in La Salle. Janet then worked at the Palace Bowling Alley in La Salle for many years as a statistician for the Leagues and cook. Janet is survived by her sister Nancy (Arthur) klieber of Lostant. Several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000 and 2 Brothers Robert and Daniel Weber.
