Jennie Piotrowski

Jennie Piotrowski 90 of Peru. Died June 15 in Presence Cor Mariae Center in Rockford. Services will be 10:30 AM Monday in Ptak Funeral Home with an 11:00 AM mass of Christian Burial at St Mary’s Church Peru. Rev Gary Blake will officiate. Burial will be at St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:00 -10:30 AM in the funeral Home. Jennie was born September 20, 1925 in La Salle to John and Anna (Nieznalski) Samolinski. She married Eugene “Gene” Piotrowski October 25, 1947 at St Hyacinth Church. She worked at Westclox for many years. She was a longtime member of St Valentine Church. Jennie’s family was her love and joy. As a devout woman of faith, she had immense compassion, kindness and forgiveness. She gave selflessly to those in need. He boundless heart was a gift to all who knew her. Jennie is survived by 3 daughters Beverly (Dennis) Curless of Rockford, Kathleen (Kenneth) Kramarsic of Calabash, NC and Eileen (Steven) Ganze of Peru. 1 son Daniel (Teri Green) Piotrowski of La Salle. Her grandchildren Jennifer Curless, LeAnne Curless, Dominic (Vanessa) Ganze, Peter (Stefanie Frye) Ganze and Alex (Danielle) Ganze and 1 Great Grandson Nixon Ganze. 2 Brothers Lawrence Samlin of La Salle and Raymond Samolinski of LaSalle. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, 8 Brothers, 1 Sister, 3 Half Brothers
