Jerome J. Pangrcic

Jerome J. Pangrcic 61 of Peru. Died August 5, 2016 in Mendota Lutheran Home. Services will be 9:30 AM Tuesday in the Ptak Funeral Home with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St Joseph church. Rev Harold Datzman OSB and Rev Gregory Jarzombek OSB will Con Celebrate. Burial will be at St Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 PM in the Funeral home with 3:45 PM prayer service. Jerome was born March 19, 1955 in La Salle to Rudolph and Agnes (Ajster) Pangrcic. He married Lisa LaFollette October 20, 1979 in St Joseph Church. He was a member of St Joseph Church. Jerome worked at Sundstrand Company in La Salle for 20 years and then worked at Lone Star Cement Co. in Oglesby for over 20 years as a heavy machine operator and train operator. He was an avid hunter and fishermen. His Family was his main priority. Jerome is survived by his wife Lisa of Peru, 3 daughters Rachael (Brian) Sherman of La Salle, Natalie (Andy) Schmollinger of La Salle and Christine (Kris) Newton of Peru. His 6 Grandchildren Noah, Julie, Quinn and Jonah Sherman and Gavin and Maxie Schmollinger. Jerome is also survived by 4 sisters and 4 brothers and Several Nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Brian Sherman, Andy Schmollinger, Kris Newton, Clayton Pangrcic, Joey Pangrcic and Kevin LaFollette. Memorials may be directed to the family wishes.
