Joe Bichl

Joe Bichl 53 of La Salle. Died October 10, 2015 in his home. Memorial mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday October 14 in St Patrick Church La Salle. The Very Rev. Antonio Dittmer will officiate. Private Burial will take place at St Vincent Cemetery. Cremations have been accorded. Visitation will be Wednesday in the church from 9:00 AM till time of services. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Joe was born February 24, 1962 in Evanston, IL to Francis (Jerry) and Judith (Babs) Bichl. Joe was a 1980 graduate of St Bede Academy. He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a degree in English. He was a writer/Editor for Commerce Clearing House and All State Insurance. He most recently worked for Walter- Kluwers Company, a global Information Services company. Joe lived in Park Ridge for many years. Joe is survived by his parents of La Salle. 1 Brother Fran (Jannell) Bichl of Elmhurst 4 sisters Julie (Bruce) Fenza of Plainfield, Cathy (Chris) Illman of Pewaukee,WI, Jenny (Adam) Smith of London, OH., and Mary Beth (Chris)Wahlig of Hartland,WI and longtime friend Jeanne Fitzmaurice of Park Ridge, Il. He is also survived by 12 Nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to St Bede Academy or Trinity Catholic formerly St Patrick's Grade School .
