Kay Kolowski-Hyson

Kay Kolowski-Hyson 57 of Peru. Passed away March 4, 2025, in Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, IL.

A celebration of her life will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Kay was born October 31, 1967, in Peru to Eugene and Barbara (Weber) Kolowski. She worked at Sephora as a cosmetologist. Kay loved the outdoors and especially the Ocean. She was an avid lover of all animals.

Kay is survived by her parents Eugene and Barbara Kolowski of Peru. Her husband Tom Hyson. Her sister Debbie (Gary) Bradbury of Peru. Her nephews Brandon Swindler and Kyle Swindler and great aunt to Cal, Ben, Kolbey, Nora and Luke.

The family would like to thank her wonderful friends for their kindness and support.
