Lawrence J. “Larry” Tadych 89 of Peru. Died 12:15 PM November 13 in IVCH Peru. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at St Valentine Church. Monsignor J. Brian Rejsek will officiate. Burial will be at St Hyacinth Cemetery. The Peru Veterans Memorial Group will conduct Graveside Military Rites. Visitation will be Wednesday morning in the church from 10:00- 11:00 AM. The Ptak funeral Home has been entrusted with the services. Larry was born February 20, 1926 in La Salle to Joseph and Lillian (Skierka) Tadych. He was Veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy from 1942-1945. He married Eleanor Pierson July 13, 1963 at St Valentine Church. He worked at American Nickeloid for over 42 ½ years, retiring in 1988. He is survived by 1 sister Shirley (Tom) Ciesielski of La Salle. Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a special friends Mary and Triston Walter of Granville. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2003 and 5 Brothers Robert, Walter, Joseph, Bernard and Arthur.
