Loretta M. Brown 87 of Peru. Died December 16,2017 in the Alexian Brother Hospice in Elk Grove Village. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in St Valentine Church. Monsignor Richard Soseman will officiate. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday in the church from 10:00 AM till time of services. Ptak funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Loretta was born January 25,1930 in Spring Valley. She was lovingly raised by her Aunt and Uncle Frank and Margaret Lucas. She married Robert Brown September 4,1948 in St Patrick Church in Arlington, IL. Loretta worked at Westclox and Jay’s Supper Club in Arlington. She was a member of St Valentine Church. Loretta is survived by her husband Robert of Peru, 1 daughter Marla (Denis) Studzinski of Rolling Meadows, IL and 1 son Robert D. (Susan) Brown of Valparaiso, IN. 4 Grandchildren Troy (Jennifer) Akey, Rachel (Alex) Omasta, Scott Brown and Megan Brown. 3 Great Grandchildren Ashley and Allison Akey and Maddie Omasta. 2 Sisters Lorraine (Victor) Serri of Rockford and Mary Lou Whitaker of Arizona. 1 Brother James (Nancy) Lucas of Peru. Loretta was preceded in death by 2 daughters in infancy Mary Elaine and Mary Kay 1 Brother and 2 sisters. Memorials may be directed to St Jude Children’s Hospital
