Mary E. Clancy

Mary E. Clancy 66 of La Salle. Died April 23, 2016, in Northwestern Memorial Hospital Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday in St Patrick Church La Salle. Rev Ronald Margherio OSB will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at St Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 PM in Ptak Funeral Home and there will be an additional visitation on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with services. Mary was born May 21, 1949, in Ottawa to Joseph and Eileen (Dix) Nagle. She married Joe Clancy March 25, 1978, in Peru. Mary served on the Board of Directors for Horizon House from 1981-1984 and was the Board President of the Horizon House from 1984-1986. Along with her husband she served as Co-Chairperson on the 2nd Annual St Bede Academy Auction. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. She was a member of Deer Park Country Club. Mary is survived by her husband Joe of La Salle. Three daughters Colleen (Bill) Judge of Peru, Mary Chris Clancy of Atlanta, GA, and Cathy (Roger) Doyle of Granville. Three sons Joe (Missy) Clancy of Peru, Scotty Stoudt of Dwight and Chris (Alisa) Clancy of Frankfort, IL. Four Grandchildren Gabrielle Teising, Taleah Sanford, Blake Doyle and Liam Clancy. Two Great Grandchildren Jet and Jax Teising. Four sisters Nan (Charlie) Butler of La Salle, Nora (Rich) VanHam of Batavia, IL, Missy (Mike) Hellman of Elkhart, IN., and Chris (Edward) Kuleck of Ottawa. Two brothers Joe (Celeste) Nagle of Spring Valley and Jerry (Carol) Nagle of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Sean Flynn, Tom Flynn, Nick Nagle, Joey Jackson, Clayton Brown and Shane Nagle In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be directed to the Horizon House Tribute Fund.
