Mary G. Piletic-Johnson 76 formerly of La Salle. Died June 19, 2018, in El Paso Healthcare Center. Prayer service will be 9:30 AM Wednesday in Ptak Funeral Home with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St Patrick Church La Salle. The Rev Kyle Lucas officiating. Burial will be at St Vincent Cemetery La Salle. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the Ptak Funeral Home. Shimkus Helmer Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mary was born March 26, 1942, in La Salle to Joseph and Mary (Bildhauer) Piletic. Mary worked for Catholic Charities of Chicago for many years. She was a member of Slovenian Union of America. Mary is survived by 2 daughters Rita (Shannon) Lowe of Bakersfield, CA, Rebecca (Shawn) Bever of Bakersfield, CA. 2 sons Joseph Johnson of Bakersfield, CA and John (Angie) Johnson of Bakersfield, CA. and 16 Grandchildren. 1 Brother Kenneth Piletic of Streamwood, IL and her son in law Dennis Hughlett of Bakersfield, CA. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Theresa Hughlett in 2018.
