Paulette Y. Schauer

Paulette Y. Schauer 78 of Peru. Passed away August 16, 2024, in OSF Medical Center Peoria. 

Visitation will be Thursday August 22, 2024, from 5-7 PM in the Ptak Funeral Home. 

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be private 

Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the services. 

Paulette was born July 18,1946 in Peru, IL to Paul W. and Dora Pearl (Brittingham) Helsley. She worked at Westclox for 16 years and then worked for Koolie’s Banquet Center in Ottawa and Texas Instruments in Odessa, TX. 

Paulette is survived by her son Ronald Schauer of Spring Valley, IL., Her Grandchildren Colin Schauer, Nicole Schauer and Maddy Schauer. Great Grandchildren Kendall Schauer, Aurora Schauer, Maverick Schauer and Hazel Schauer. Her sisters Linda Tinsley, Billie Lamkin, Jackie Sawicki and Donna Helsley. 

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
