Raymond J. Augustyniak

Raymond J. Augustyniak 87 of Peru. Died January 25, 2017 in Veteran Home of La Salle. Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday February 11, 2017 in St Valentine Church. Monsignor J. Brian Rejsek and Rev Gregory Jarzombek OSB will concelebrate. Burial will be in St Valentine Cemetery. Peru Veterans Memorial Group will conduct Military Honors. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Raymond was born August 2, 1929 in Peru to Frank and Marie (Podlasek) Augustyniak. He served overseas in the Army during the Korean War. He worked at Westclox as a tool and die maker until it closed and then retired from Go Dan Industries in Peru. He was a member of St Valentine Church and the Peru Sportsman Club. Raymond is survived by his brother Francis Augustyniak of Ladd. 3 nieces Sue (Jeff) Faber of Peru, Sandy (Jim) Dziarnowski of Peru and Deborah (Tim) Dutkiewicz-Evans of St Helens, OR. 3 Great nieces Allena Faber, Addie Dziarnowski and Fiona Evans. 2 Great Nephews Jacob Faber and Aiden Dziarnowski. He was preceded in death by his sister Dolores Dutkiewicz in 2016.
