Richard Lipinski

Richard Lipinski, 82 of Peru, passed away June 2nd, 2024, in the loving care of LaSalle County Nursing Home, Ottawa. A celebration of Richard’s life is planned for a later date.  

Cremation rites have been accorded and Ptak Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Richard was born June 13th, 1941, in Peru to Walter and Lottie (Halasiak) Lipinski.  

Over the years, Richard was celebrated as both a dealer at local flea markets and antique booths, but also a trusted handyman.  Richard was always willing to help anyone in need. In addition to being a proud veteran of the US Army, Richard’s was also honored to be primary caregiver to his beloved mother prior to her passing. In recent years, he also enjoyed music and sharing time and activities with his Nursing Home family.  

Richard is survived by his sister, Carol (Lipinski) Schomas and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss their “Uncle Rich.
