Ronald Foster

Ronald Foster 80 of Peru. Passed away February 8, 2022, in Unity Point Methodist Hospital Peoria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022, in St Valentine Church. The Rev J A Small will officiate. Burial will be in St Valentine Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM in the church. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Ronald was born December 22, 1941, in Ottawa, IL to Charles and Lila (Engel) Foster. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School. Ronald married Christine Jaskolski on February 15, 1969, in St Valentine Church. He was Peru Police Officer for over 27 years, from 1971 up till his retirement in 1998.

Ronald is survived by his son Chuck (Kate) Foster of La Salle, 2 Grandchildren Ryan Foster of Ottawa and Morgan (Mike Cuchiarria) Foster of Ottawa, and 1 Great Grandchild Krue Cuchiarria. 1 sister Rita (Don) Lukach of Streator.

Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Christine in 2012.
