Ronald M. Meisel 78 of Peru. Passed away on November 12, 2023, at Allure of Peru.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday November 17, 2023, in the Ptak Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Redig of St John’s Lutheran Church of Peru will officiate. The burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park La Salle.

The visitation will be Friday in the Ptak Funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM. Ptak Funeral has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Ronald was born December 23, 1944, in Princeton, IL to Edgar and Eva (Price) Meisel. He married Jane Skowronski on October 21,1978 at Holy Family Church Oglesby. He worked at Eagle Grocery Store in Peru for over 30 years. He was a member of St John Lutheran Church Peru and was an usher at St John’s Lutheran Church for many years.

Ronald is survived by his wife Jane of Peru. 2 sons John (Jennifer) Meisel of Milledgeville, IL, and Joseph (Amy) Meisel of Hampstead, NC. 5 Grandchildren Addy, Ava, Brenden, Paizley, and Ryker.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters Sharon and Pat.
