Sherry A. Moncrief 65 of Peru. Died 9:40 PM May 28, 2017, in her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 3, 2017, in the Ptak Funeral Home. Monsignor J. Brian Rejsek will officiate. Burial will be at St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of services. Sherry was born March 17, 1952, in Peru to Casimir and Elizabeth (Ewing) Kowalczyk. Sherry worked in the Dietary Department at IVCH in Peru for over 36 years. Sherry is survived by her 2 daughters Cynthia (Brian) Fusinato of Spring Valley and Andrea (Alex) Kaszynski of Peru. 1 son Brian (Heather) Moncrief of La Salle. 8 Grandchildren. 3 sisters June Ratajczak of Peru, Helen Jean (Sam) Wadas of Benson, IL and Mary Ann McPhedran of Spring Valley and 1 brother Jack (Carmen) Kowalczyk of Peru. She was preceded in death by her parents.
