Sophie Ratajczak

Sophie Ratajczak 97 of La Salle. Passed away March 28, 2023, in St Clare Hospital in Princeton. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday April 1, 2023, in St Valentine Church. Rev J A Small will officiate. Burial will be at St Valentine Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. 

Visitation will be Saturday morning in the church from 10:00 until the service.  

Ptak Funeral has been entrusted with the arrangements. 

Sophie was born May 10,1925 in Peru to Joseph and Agnes (Mikus) Krystofek. She married Walter Ratajczak on October 23, 1948, in Peru., Walter preceded her in death on February 15,1973. Together they raised 2 daughters. Debbie (Ron) Callahan of Tennesse and Christine Franklin of La Salle. Sophie leaves behind 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great- Great Grandchildren. 

Sophie was preceded in death by her Parents, Her spouse, 2 brothers and 1 sister. 

Sophie worked at Westclox, but what she loved the best was being a mother and homemaker. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Valentine Church.
