Therese C. Schweickert

Therese Clare Schweickert 59 of Peru passed away March 11, 2021, in her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at St Mary Church Peru. The Rev Gary Blake will officiate. Cremation rites will follow the services. Burial will be at a later date in St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will Wednesday in the church from 10:00 -11:00 AM. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Therese was born September 5, 1961, the cherished daughter of Francis and Pauline (Guziec) Schweickert. She worked for Pioneer Seed Co. in Princeton for many years and recently worked at Casey’s General Store in Peru. Therese is survived by her mother Pauline of Peru. Beloved sister of Mary Beth Schweickert of Eureka, Ca, Julie (Cliff) Hawley of Lombard, IL and Ann (Brad) Lamboley of Granville, Il and her brother Steven Schweickert of Peru. She was a treasured aunt of David (Rachel) Schweickert, Kathryn Hawley, Meghan (Tyler Meenan) Moody, Lucas (Nicole) Hawley, Benjamin Lamboley, and Grace Lamboley. A dear friend to many especially Traci O’Sadnick, Jody Durham, and the late Randy Murphy. She was preceded in death by her father Francis and her brothers David A. Schweickert and Mark F.
