Vera L. Roberts 89 of Peru, formerly of Lubbock, TX. Died 10:42 PM January 18, 2015 in The Ottawa Pavilion . Services will be Friday in Lubbock, TX. Burial will be in Lubbock Cemetery. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the Family with the arrangements. Vera was born November 14, 1925 in Colorado City, TX to Ivan and Bessie (Carroll) Strain. She married Walter W. Roberts. Survivors include 3 daughters Jo (Bob) Herington of Peru, Sue Rule of Peru and Carla Webb of Slaton, TX. 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great- Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters Thelma Elliott of Slaton, TX. and Betty Susan Timmons of Slaton, TX. She was preceded in death her husband in 2008 1 Sister and 1 brother.
