Virginia H. kratz

Virginia H. Kratz 92 of Peru. Died 6:38 PM April 3, 2016 in Manor Court of Peru. Services will be11:30 am Friday at the Ptak Funeral home with a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St Joseph Church. Rev Harold Datzman OSB will officiate. Burial will be at St Valentine Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 PM in Ptak Funeral Home with 6:00 pm Prayer service in the funeral home. There will be an additional visitation Friday morning from in the funeral home from 10:30 am till time of services. Virginia was born July 15, 1923 in Peru to John and Nellie (Stachowiak) Patyk. She married J. Quintin “Bud” Kratz October 30, 1948 in St Valentine Church. She was a member of St Joseph Church, Deer Park Country Club, and Spring Creek Golf. She volunteered for the American Red Cross Meals on wheels program and was very active in the community. Virginia is survived by several of her beloved nieces and nephews, Great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband in 2008 and 1 brother Henry Patyk in 2007. Memorials may be directed to the Horizon House of the Illinois Valley.
